The Consolidated Metro Group has its origins back to 1972 when founder and present CEO John Meyer commenced business as the Consolidated Insulation Co.

The Group now comprises 3 major operating divisions: CMG Contracting, CMG Sales and Metro Cooling Towers. The Group has its headquarters at Guildford, NSW.

The premises at Guildford comprises some 4,700 m² of office, warehouse and manufacturing facility, and is the centre of business function common to all entities of the Group.




CMG Contracting provides expertise in the supply and installation of thermal and acoustic insulation to the commercial building industry and industrial and petrochemical industries.

CMG Sales supplies all types of thermal and acoustic insulation, duct hardware and associated products to HVAC contractors, duct manufacturers, sheet metal fabricators and insulation contractors.

CMG Acoustics is a specialist acoustic insulation supplier servicing industrial and commercial applications where noise pollution and health and safety implications are an issue.

Metro Cooling Towers specialises in the assembly, installation and servicing of Shinwa Cooling Towers.
